Gujarat: One alleged terrorist was gunned-down, while four others fled the scene during a raid by CTD in Gujrat on Wednesday.
On a tip-off, the Counter Terrorism Department conducted a search operation in Rakh Pabbi area in Gujrat on Wednesday, where the terrorists opened fire at the police party.
The CTD retaliated and gunned-down a terrorist, while four of his accomplices fled the scene. The deceased identity could not be ascertained immediately.
The CTD also claimed to have recovered two hand grenades and weapons during the raid.
According to CTD, the terrorists were planning to target security officials in the area.
The CTD has started search operations for the arrest of remaining terrorists.
