PALANDRI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan on Monday said Jews have no need to plant their agents in the presence of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam chief Fazlur Rehman.
Speaking at an election rally, the former cricket hero said: Fazlur Rehman says Imran Khan is an agent of Jews… I have to say why Yahudis would need an agent in your presence”.
Imran Khan asked Kashmiris to vote for ideology and PTI who can change the fate of Azad Kashmir and not the tried and tested parties. Stressing the need for devolution of powers, he said his party would empower all local government representatives irrespective of their political affiliation.
“I’ve talked to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister to overcome the issue that are causing hurdles in the way of our local government representatives. “I’ve seen many world democracy systems and I found the Swiss to be the best. The key is an empowered local government system,” the PTI chairman said.
Khan said the people of Pakistan are paying 50% tax on petrol and 100% tax on diesel while the PML-N government has also increased power tariff.
Imran Khan praised the spirit of the Kashmiri people and said that he salutes them, adding that the people of the region have bravely fought in the war for freedom. “Those who fight for independence never die”, he said. Khan also requested the elderly people to join PTI.
Khan said that those who embrace slavery have no future, adding that the fight for justice will continue. PTI Chairman gave examples of different great men in history that stood for a cause and made their mark. He said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah did not make a compromise with his superiors; instead he fought for freedom till the very end.
Khan said that corruption has badly influenced Pakistan, adding that money has been taken out of the country through illegal means whereas the people have been placed under the burden of taxes. He further added that a number of institutions have been affected by corruption.
